One of the jobs we worked on this week had the remnants of termites.
These nasty little critters can do a lot of major damage to your home.
Feasting on wood, inside the walls and out of sight, termites can bring a house down--literally.
This project was the installation of 20 Andersen Windows in an office in mid-town. The back half of the building had been vacant for a few years, and some years back, the termites had been exterminated. The damaged walls had been treated, but the repairs had not been made.

....and after.The bottom plate is CCA pressure-treated wood, which is termite resistant. We found damage in 4 of the 20 openings and put the walls back into good shape.
